We've been delivering high quality music classes to children in St. John's and surrounding areas for ten years!
Our sessions for 3 and 4 year-old children are filled with songs, games, movement and the playing of pitched and non-pitched percussion instruments. Our aim is to promote musical literacy. That means your child will eventually learn how to read and write music with us, and the preschool years prepare them for this advanced study.
Our kindergarten students experience the same class format as our preschool children with lots of games and movement, but it is at this level that we begin to read and write notes on the staff. Students reinforce this learning by participating in loads of music theory activities with their teacher and classmates.
It is at the grade one level and above that we apply all that wonderful learning! Our students in grades one and up study piano, ukulele and composition. That's right...our students learn to compose their own music and play it on the piano themselves. It's really exciting! Of course, we still find time for loads of fun and games with our older students as well.
And if that's not all wonderful enough...each child gets to record a vocal album at the end of each year!

Our spring recording sessions are loads of fun, and everybody gets to participate! Each child prepares roughly seven songs to sing on their new album. During the 30-minute one-one-one session, they sing right along with the adult on the guide track. We then remove that voice in the finished product leaving only your child's voice along with the super-fun instrumental accompaniment. Easy peasy! And there's no extra charge for this service. It's included in the annual registration fee!
